[LJ2ME] Fab-ruary Gone Bust
As frivolous and flippant as it may come across, I've not really felt the impact or been affected by the financial tsunami and economic crisis which reared its ugly head into the last quarter of last year.
And I'm keeping my fingers crossed that things remain status quo. But if push came to shove, and I had to single out something that happened or not happened due to the layman brothers' fracas, I would otherwise be posting about the past three days where I was to have been in Europe attending the weddings of dear close friends.
Aye, I would have been on the outskirts of Seville for the marriage of Figaro and Susanna on Wednesday, made it into Seville itself yesterday for Masetto and Zerlina's nuptials and finally on to Naples today for the double celebrations of Fiordiligi and Guglielmo and Dorabella and Ferrando.
Alas, it was not meant to be. I would have loved to have caught up with you guys. If things look up anytime soon, maybe you'll consider coming here for your honeymoon?
