[Prior to her sudden arrival, Vincent had been checking out his room somewhat, having thus far been able to dodge meeting his roommate. He knew their name, and that was about it. Perhaps if he were lucky, that would be all he was aware of. The likely thing was the opposite of that hope of sorts, though. He had a feeling.

When Yuffie knocked and announced herself, the ex-Turk was actually close to feeling something resembling surprise in regards to the fact that Yuffie hadn't just barreled on in instead. Then again, maybe since this was a Yuffie apparently from some type of a future, a thing or two had changed for the better. In any event, he could maybe admit to himself that having familiar faces in this new place was a good thing. The young Kisaragi woman, when not prattling on about Materia and the like, was a tolerable person.

In fact, he tended to get paired with her often enough to know she wasn't really that bad, despite being a little selfish, and a bit of a thief. What human being wasn't selfish, or really, imperfect? The missions they'd gone on, and when not being with the main group would probably have Vincent admitting that out of all of them, he minded her the least.

Walking over to the door, he opens it and looks down at Yuffie. When he saw her, he blinked. She had grown a little bit since the last time he saw her; she was healthy, fit, one might even say she was a bit...fuller. Her outfit looked rather odd to him though, and it earned an arch of his brow.]

...Yuffie.

[idkmybffvince]

[She smiled. Vincent looked, well, the same as always. It was really, really good to see him, though. In fact, she kind of felt like hugging him but there was no way he'd be cool with that so she suppressed that thought.]

Vince! It's so good to see you again, I mean, even if we have to be stuck here. So I was thinking, maybe we can go looking around! I don't know if any doors would unlock for us but I can show what's been found so far! What do you think?

[It sounded like a plausible enough reason; after all, he did need to go looking around. Besides, he knew well enough by now that if he said anything other than okay, she would probably drag him on out anyway. First things first, though.]

In a moment...where is my gun?

They took all of our stuff! All of my materia! This MATERIA FIEND, can you believe it? Whoever he is, he is one cunning guy to steal from the Single White Rose of Wutai.

Hmmm...I see.

No one has found whoever did this?

[idkmybffvince]

Not yet, and there's been people here a few months time! Ugh, we're all going to get him when we find him, and he's not going to know which way is straight.

[Yuffie pauses to take a moment to calm down before continuing.]

Okay! So, lets go, come on! No use staying here waiting for, uh..

[She pokes her head around the door to see the name of Vincent's roommate]

Apollo.

[betray_vincent]

[Glances to see the name as well; he had no interest in meeting this person, though eventually he probably would.

An inevitable thing.]

Very well.

[He steps out and closes the door behind him.]

[Yuffie heads towards the main hallway, taking the lead.]

We need to look out for the mistletoe, alright? No getting stuck and all that.

[Vincent would walk alongside, but decides to heed what she says and takes to following silently behind her.]

[Once they get to the main hall, though, she waits for him. This whole having him follow thing is getting kind of weird.]

Okay, so we have the main floor, upstairs [she points to the stairs], or the basement [she points to the trap door peeking out from the rug].

[Both are noted, and he nods, eying the spots she pointed out to him.]

So which way do you want to go first?

[betray_vincent]

I'm not partial to any certain way.

[idkmybffvince]

Upstairs it is, then! [She leads him upstairs, and where there are once again four doors.]

Okay, I think that one is the library, [She points to the nearest door on the right], uhh that one is that creepy hallway [Upper right hand door] Hmmm, I'm not sure about that one [Closest to the left] but that room has a bunch of candy. [Upper left.]

[Follows her to the doors and pauses alongside her. What a strange variety of places these doors led to. Very peculiar...]

So? [She stops and turns around to look at him] Which way?
