[Starting at about late morning, one might notice flags appearing around the mansion. Well, not so much appearing as being placed there, but there's definitely a lot of them. Someone grabbed hold of a bunch of cheap plastic American flags from one of the vendors, and is promptly decorating the mansion with them

It's my design. And anyway our flags look nothing alike. [He seriously hopes he's joking. Because he's joking, too. Partially.]

And besides, they don't exist anymore, so otherwise the design's going to waste! [He has a flag in his hand but he's debating on giving England one. Uhh.]

Replace the stars with a Union Jack, and it's a near exact match.

[ England already has a flag he grabbed from nearby. He gives it a small twirl before putting it into his back pocket ]

[It actually makes America really happy to see England has a flag. Like seriously. Of course, it's lost when he asks a question, and he huffs a bit.]

It's not a holiday. It's a.. [He pauses, considers, and kind of gives England a blank look.] ...you told me not to tell you any 'future' events. [This may just be an excuse to not go into it.]

[He sighs. Well, if he had to choose between the two topics, really.. The question about his fingers catches him off guard, and he.. hides them. Yeah, you didn't see anything.]

Nothing. [What could he say? He didn't want to talk about how he broke them during the last event, why his mun hates him for putting him through all this needless shit, etc. He'd rather go back to talking about manifest destiny with Robin.]

A few years ago, some terrorists attacked my home. [That's vague enough, right? He gestures to the flags he's holding.] My boss and my people and everyone put flags up to remember those lost.

Yup. War lasted.. for a while. Actually, some of my people are still over there, though they should be coming home soon. Mostly it was pushed by my last boss, but.. well.. [He shrugs.]

[ there's a small polite cough, because as much as England wants to leave a sarcastic comment, it really wouldn't be right. ]

[There might be a smirk there.] Well, they asked for it. [They just didn't reach 'must be told twice' status like Japan did. Whatever smirk was there though ends up being replaced with confusion.] Another one? But.. [He hesitates, but rummages through his 'supply' and hands over another one.]

Okay, but.. I can't keep giving out multiple ones! I'm running low!

[ taking it rather quickly, but using the opportunity to make a grab at America's hand ]
