[Starting at about late morning, one might notice flags appearing around the mansion. Well, not so much appearing as being placed there, but there's definitely a lot of them. Someone grabbed hold of a bunch of cheap plastic American flags from one of the vendors, and is promptly decorating the mansion with them ( Read more... )

Well, I have a few unincorporated territories, though I doubt England'll ever let me take that territory to the north. [What was his name again? Cana-something?] We've fought over it before.

[Oh. Back to seriousness. He sighs, and busies himself with putting more flags up in the general area.] Eight years ago, terrorists attacked my people on this day. Thousands were killed, and even more were injured.

I put up flags to remember. My boss said it's never good to forget anyone who's died on that day, so everyone in my house puts up flags and we have a ceremony and everything.

[Of course at that he brightens further, and the somber mood is almost completely forgotten. For now anyway.] Well, you're American, aren't you? I figure if you're one of Beast Boy's friends then you must be! Therefore, you're one of my people, too! [Yes, Robin, you are already one of the doomed.] But it'd be great to have you carry a flag!
