I... I wouldn't call us friends, really! It's not.. I mean.. he's still annoying and tries to boss me around, and occasionally tries to guilt me for the whole war and everything but.. at least he's become decent support since then!

He was a way better dad than England, even if he was technically my brother back then. England just kind of sent me to live by myself once he became interested in what the land that would become my home offered and only came to visit occasionally!
Father Washington did an awesome job in helping me get started as my own nation! He was really nice despite being an awesome soldier and smiled at me and stuff! England never does that!

Technically I have a few other 'fathers' who helped form my government and all, but Washington was the first one so he's a bit more important!
