The Hiizumi Life Counseling Offices are in a small, one floor building in the town center. Inside, employees slack off work diligently. There are some desks, some filing cabinets, and a bunch of papers. There are also some little booklets for visitors to pick up, titled: Welcome to Vatheon. [It took him a while to find the building - Ban had spent time just wandering around the city for a bit, trying to get used to his surroundings. It just wasn't happening though; walking into the Life Counseling Office, he glanced around the place, cigarette still dangling from his lips.]

Hey, I'm Akina. ...I don't think I got your name.

You didn't. It's Ban Midou. You're Hiizumi, then?

Well, we've got these little booklets here, which should tell you the most important things you need to know right off the bat. If you have any questions, just ask. After that, we can get you set up with a place to stay... though I think you might want to get some dry clothes first.

[He motions to the stack of booklets]

Oh, hi. New person? I'm Touka Kishi. Nice to meet you.

[Picks up a booklet, flipping through it; when Hiizumi mentions dry clothes, Ban nods, though not without a faint laugh.]

Yeah, that'd be nice - probably get a place to stay at, then hit up a store.

[A glance up when Touka arrives.]

Ban Midou. Good t'meet you. You work here, too?

[Touka nods happily.]

Yes, I do. Welcome, Ban-san.

Well, let's get you started with the clothes then. Oh, and you can keep the booklet if you'd like. We've got plenty more for other people.

[Slight, lopsided smile.] Thanks, Touka.

[Nods at Hiizumi's words, pocketing the booklet.] All right. Uh, do you need anything from me? Like payment or something for all this.

[A quite genuine smile.] No, you're fine. That's one of the things you're going to want to get used to here. Most things are free.

[Blinks in surprise. He'd heard that before, sure, but hadn't really given it much thought until now.] Heh...not a bad deal for being dropped into this place. Lead the way.

[He does so, taking Ban to a nearby clothing store.]

Here, you can get something dry to wear.

[Whistles when they first walk in; it's not a bad place at all.]
