I've never read the bible, not even a single page of the first chapter - whatever it's called, Book of Job? I've never been to church. I've never prayed. In high school, when we read Paradise Lost, I scanned over one paged and then used the book for a coaster. I didn't know what terms like Benediction, Holy Trinity, Anti-Christ, or Salvation even ( Read more... )

Genesis.

You may find the Book of Job interesting, however.

Why? I'm not a big fan of reading, Castiel.

Job was a man who was tried and tempted, with God's blessings, by Satan himself in order to test his virtues.

So how did it end? The story.

Job resisted all temptation and refused to denounce God. For that, he was rewarded.

Was Job's soul owned by the devil? It's not even about contracts anymore-

I mean, I've never even believed in God. I was always apathetic about the whole religion thing, since it was never a big part of my childhood. So I doubt that story could ever apply to me.

Job's soul was in the balance. Should he make the wrong choice, he would fall to ruin.

You know the devil exists now. Where does your faith lie in God?

My faith is another matter entirely.

I'm speaking of all I've witnessed amongst humans themselves.

Then answer me this: Does he show bias when it comes to faith?

Or a concrete example-- If a demon suddenly had faith in God again, would he accept it?

I cannot speak for Him.

But the demons of my world are incapable of regaining their faith in God. They place their faith in Lucifer, if anything.

There are demons in my world that rebelled against Satan. Or at least, they tried. You can guess how well that worked out.

Even if you can't speak for God, you probably know him pretty well, don't you? Do you think he'd forgive them, despite what they were?
