[ Hughes spent the first few minutes after the end of that earthquake picking his way out from beneath Community Building #4- pretty damn bruised, a cut here or there, but overall fine- and for a few minutes after, he's left standing and just...surveying the damage.
The time to take action is apparent. And there are a few people to worry about now, so he'll be taking off for anywhere that looks like it could use another helping hand. There are a lot of places: the clinic, Community Buildings, houses, the square, someone could be trapped out in a mountain for all he knows- ]
Damn it- Is everyone all right?! Winry, Edward, Alphonse, Miss Kirimi-? [ He'd list off more names, but it turns out spending a couple of months in a place can really add numbers to such a list. Not to mention there are any number of people who could just plain need a hand. ] Does anybody need help?!
