Well another post from Kansas City!
Well last night and this evening we ended the day with a trip to Kaufman Stadium to watch major league baseball players play like a bunch of minor league teams. The Kansas City Royals and the Cleveland Indians both well out of the play off picture were just happy to be there I guess. My parents and another couple have season tickets (which I assume are dirt cheap) and we sat in some fairly nice seats along the 3rd base side. However, the biggest thing to see was about the largest Hi-Def television EVAR!!
Yep that screen measures about 105 ft by 80 ft and will be the next bachelor purchase I make!
Additionally we visited the Nelson Art Museum which was sort of a gyp as they had about 1/3 of the museum closed off and prevented me from viewing anything from Dali, Pollock or Warhol in addition to the African and Native American exhibits. I saw too many Monet's!
Tomorrow I'll be picking up the rental car and driving down to the homeland to stay for about a week in the Dallas area so I'm sure I'll more details soon!
