life
in boston right now with my best friend in the whole world, michelle...
i was supposed to fly up to boston, dip into northampton to visit julia and clare and then bus and taxi my way up to bethel to go to snowball with jon last night... BUT gould, being the douchebags that they are, randomly at the last minute decided i couldn't go cause even though im an alum im not a current student.. this after i was already in boston. so after spending many hours in the cold trying to figure out the boston transportation systems (and many angry rants with jon as to what body parts of ours gould academy is welcome to suck), i made it to northampton, too late for the concert i was coming in the first place for but there nonetheless.. spent saturday am with jules and clare, taking photos around the city w/ a life-sized plastic penguin that i bought and playing a rousing game of "hump that!" (basically, taking turns picking inanimate objects that the next person had to hump in public).. a good time was had by all. then that evening i found my way back to boston (penguin came with. you have no idea the weird looks you get bringing a penguin on a greyhound bus.) and met up around 11 with shelly (yay I love her)... went to a very fun party where i got thoroughly sloshed and had a fantastic time, then today hung around, nursed my poor sick throat (i've had a steadily increasing cold throughout the weekend, and woke up without a voice today), and went out with shelly and friends to chill in the city.. i'll probably take a taxi to the airport in a few and try to catch an early flight home...
all in all, a great weekend despite the fact that i couldn't see my lover boy
