tonight is surely going to be another action packed night chock full of destroyer and the new pornographers. :D i made the crazy decision this morning after giving it much thought. i thought i'd end up going by myself all the way to solana beach and back but irma has agreed to join me. yay!!! i'm so excited!
did i say that i almost got into an accident yesterday? this guy was coming out of a parking lot on the opposite side of the street, trying to cross two lanes and cut me off and get in front of me at THE LAST MINUTE. i saw this, so i slowed down and figured i'd let the guy just go if he's that eager to go. BUT then i saw a car coming from the opposite direction and the guy didn't see him, so he took off full speed ahead thinking he was going to cut me off, but the car coming couldn't see him and totally slammed into him. so i was about 15 feet from them when it happened and i pushed my brakes even harder and swerved to the right because otherwise i would have totally hit them. so i swerved and THANK GOD there was no car right next to me in the right lane, otherwise i would've hit them. i came like, five feet from hitting them because they were in my lane. arrrgh! so scary. but i'm okay. nothing happened to me. thankfully.
