we're lit by a torch as we kneel in the court of the king
well, it has been a lonnnng weekend. i completed my 100 figure drawings {i kind of know the human form better than the back of my own hand now that i've fucking drawn it so much.} i guess it's for the best, right? it better be. :D i have to do 35 more this week, except 25 of those have to be schematic breakdowns of master copies done with light and shadow. :0 doesn't that just sound scary?
anyway, since i finally finished my work, last night i rewarded myself with a long drive. very long, actually. i drove all the way from echo park and sunset to the very dead end of sunset where the ocean is {pch/1}. it was dark, but you could see little glimmers of light in the water created by the streetlights and it was sooo pretty. of course i rolled my windows down and drove along the coast a while... not that far, really. just till i got to santa monica. i wished i had stopped to just sit there and "look" at the ocean, but there was some mofo behind me who was totally on my ass. so, i didn't. perhaps next time i'll go during the day. maybe when it's overcast.
saturday i went to the pie 'n' burger with c. she's a total chronic complainer, but more in a funny than annoying way. omggg pie 'n' burger. mmm. i didn't get any pie, though. ):
i have to go finish thumbnails now. blehhh. ok.
