I went to Oxford for the first time (well - the first time properly looking around) and I think I fell in love a little bit. It's beautiful. I don't know if it's just because I had a really nice couple of days or if it's actually a serious thought. I saw Anna Cornelius which was really really ace, I haven't seen her actually since she went to Oxford which is two and a half years ago! Which is insane. It was great though because it didn't seem like that long and we just slotted back in - it's good when that sort of thing happens. Our gig was brilliant too, the band were great and got a really good reaction which made me very happy. Then we whiled away the rest of the evening in the Jamaican bar on the Cowley Road - brilliant. Today I went to the Jericho Cafe with Anna and her housemates and then I walked through Oxford to meet Katy who I went to school with for a cup of tea. There are very good buildings. There's an ad on Gumtree for a room in a shared house which is only available for four weeks over Easter. It's really quite tempting just to try it out and see what it's like. Is that a good idea? The only thing is that the only people I know in Oxford will not be there over the holidays. In fact given that Oxford uni has 12000 students and Brookes has 17000 probably most people won't be there over the holidays! Maybe that would be good though. I don't know! What to do. There's quite a few gigs on which I could go to and make friends with people there. I'd just quite like to try it out. But I think I will go to Oxford again before I decide. Maybe next week one day. Any advice?
