The Portales report - an apology -
I know. I never updated it. Did you know, I once stopped posting here for months and months because of something I kept intending to update that seemed to take priority, except that it vanished into the mists of time? Will try to do better.
Today is a Taking Care of Business day after a semi-final exam, or 3/4 exam - actually a chapter quiz - in The History of the English Language. It's a once a week 2.5 hour course, meaning that two snow days, and the professor and the class are racing to catch up the rest of the semester.
Also after a preliminary-to-the-term-paper assignment I made very heavy going of before remembering - Oh! She only wants a *preliminary* bibliography! Because a lot of the references can only be had online, and whenever I try it at home, I get the little wheel turning forever. So getting them means a trip to UNM. SO?
Anyway - BZ, BZ....
