So my hours got cut at work

And I am now working a measly 14 hours a week. Monday and Wednesday are my two days, and I'm honestly panicing quite a bit about what to do for money. My savings got cleaned out because of car problems and I'm feeling kind of lost. I went to my friends Tara and Holly (who are thirty and, therefore, know more than me...or so I assume...) and said "Hey. Do you guys know where I might be needed?" and they both gave me kind of open answers. Or told me about "possible future work related roles I could fill" helping them or people they know, but it's gonna be a month or two before any of those are options.
Holly's been living at the Fallbrook House of the Arts/Hostel for a few months, and a few weeks ago 13 yoga students came to stay for their final teacher training. They were here for 10 days and I cooked them their meals, and I loved it. I was hoping that that could lead into steady work, but I unfortunately spent more money on supplies than I made (pay was all donations from the students) and there might be problems law-wise with me cooking at a house not necessarily deemed food safe by the county health inspector people. The owners of the house are going to meet with their lawyers to find out what bed n' breakfasts do or if they can just get some kind of permit, but what it all comes down to is that I don't think this is going to work out as far as extra funds goes.
My next strategy is to slowly approach people I know with money offering them my services in the cooking and baking and assisting department. The ideal for me would be to do the shopping for/cook and bake/run errands for people that I know and like and who can also afford it...

Geez, I just reread that and it sounds like a really bad idea.

I have a feeling that some of my ideas are not as great as I initially think they are. That's the problem with getting "ideal situations" going in my head, they never quite work out that way. Not even in writing.

I'm just getting desperate, I guess.
