I didn't get either job I interviewed for on that movie that's shooting in Weirton, WV. I worked one day at an open call, but that looks to be all. It sucks, because I really, really wanted to work on it. But old West Virginia Film Commission or whatever is making them hire West Virginians, so that's probably why I'm sitting here in my pajamas and being sad. I can't say much about it (super-secret! confidentiality!), but it's a pretty high-profile project. So I'm really bummed out now. They started shooting yesterday.
Petty, childish revenge of the day: My new(ish) neighbors are awful. They make stinky food all the time and put a fan in their window to suck out the smell, which blows it over into my apartment and makes it stink in here. I always feel so helpless when it happens, because I don't have food that smells as bad as theirs. Also, I've yelled at them, and they don't listen (or can't hear over their giant fan). But I thought that making hard-boiled eggs might smell pretty unpleasant and I could blow it over there, but it didn't work! I only made one, but it didn't smell at all! (But it tasted delicious.) What are some suggestions for stinky food that I can make for more petty, childish revenges?
Fenchurch, the cat, likes to eat moths. She spots them on the ceiling or wall and stares and meows at them until they fly away and then she can jump at them. Now I think she's decided that any spot on the wall or ceiling is a moth, so she keeps staring at them and trying to grab them. I don't know if that's really funny or really sad. I can say that it's not good for my posters, though.
Not much of an update here! I've been unemployed and bored (and maybe a little more than a little depressed) since July!
