It's probably not life-threatening. Well, there's actually no probably about it... But I don't want to be responsible for infecting the whole of LoR, so I've skived off work again today ( Read more... )

That sounds remarkably sensible -- prioritising LoR over work, yay!

Occasionally I make the attempt to override my inate idiocy, and this seems to be one of the rare times when I managed it! I think...

But of course LoR is far more important than work. I'd never mistake that :P

Good call! I always think it is best to stay off work if you're sick, better for you and better for not infecting everyone else too.

Well I felt like utter crap all through Monday, but worked the whole 8-hour shift... there's a chance everyone at work has what I had by now :D
I feel lots better already though, so hopefully I have time not to be an international biohazard.

What's your news though? are you able to skive off your floral job for the weekend? I haven't heard anything since it became apparent yhat you were double-booked...

Noooooooooo :((

Severe lack of funds, AND being double booked. I could justify it if it was only one thing, but wiggling out of something I've already said I would do to go to something I can't afford to go to... well, you get the idea. You have to go again next year when I can afford it!!

Nooooooo!! :(((

No Jinxle! Bah, doublepants for two many reasons, dammit. But I have every intention of going next year now I know about it... Would have been before if I'd been more electronically sociable :/

We'll just have to do a Britcon more locally or something, cos there's also other more local peeps who can't go I hear...
