Appearance: Lloyd is not particularly outstanding, beyond the red shirt that he wears! His short brown hair is spiked up, likely because Lloyd felt it made himself more intimidating. How well that actually works is up for debate! With fair skin, and dark brown-reddish eyes, Lloyd is otherwise not really noticeable. He usually stands in a slouch position, resting his hand on the hilt of one of his swords. Though his clothes obscure it, Lloyd packs a lot of muscle.

And, of course, I can't fail to bring up the fact that he doesn't button his pants all the way, can I?

Personality: Though Lloyd is determined and strong, he has some... rather hilarious flaws. Lloyd uses the simplest of logic available to him. Example: one sword is strong... but imagine the damage I could do with two swords! This is the exact reason Lloyd is a dual swordsman. And it really doesn't end there. Lloyd constantly whines for Genis to help him with his homework, and is always in some form of trouble with his teacher, Raine Sage... He just can't catch a break, especially when it comes to studying.

Lloyd is easily exciteable and he looks forward to anything that could be termed "fun". But it doesn't seem to matter how interesting something really is, Lloyd will undoubtedly be whining about how boring it is within five minutes. This is frustrating to his friends, but is so very characteristic of Lloyd.

Despite these major character flaws, Lloyd does have strong determination and has a strong sense of right and wrong, usually in the form of Dwarven Vows that he'll recite every now and again. Lloyd doesn't let the word 'impossible' deter him from trying the path he wants to take or even from trying to achieve the end result that he wants. He doesn't believe in wasting life, and this makes him a strong hero. This is where his simplicity actually aids him.

Abilities/Strengths: Lloyd uses two swords because he figured that it would make him twice the swordsman! Though his actual fighting style is terribly unrefined, Lloyd's raw power is more than enough to make up for it. He's also learned many, many artes along his travels. Not to mention, his strength is enhanced due to the exsphere (spheres made through leeching off of human hosts). Lloyd's is special, but it's never explained how.

Weaknesses: Lloyd is not the brightest crayon in the box, to put it lightly. And while his determination is strong, his attention span is weak, and Lloyd will find himself becoming bored quickly. Nevermind schoolwork or anything like that-- for Lloyd, the simplest answer is always, hands down, the best answer.

History: Lloyd Irving, born to Kratos Aurion and his wife, Anna. When Lloyd was just a young boy, no more than three years old, his mother was taken over by the sickness of having an exsphere equipped with no key crest. His father was forced to slay her-- and thinking that both Anna and Lloyd were dead, Kratos left, to return back to his then-friend Mithos and to aid in his plan for a world full of lifeless beings.

However, Lloyd wasn't dead. After the attack by Kratos, where Anna and Lloyd fell down the cliff, Anna turned back to her human form shortly before she died. Long enough to implore a wandering dwarf, Dirk, to take care of her son for her. Dirk obliged and took Lloyd to raise as his own, not telling the events of Lloyd's early years to him until far later.

Lloyd attended school in the village of Iselia, where he made fast friends with the Chosen of Regeneration, Colette. Some years later, the two also made friends with the brother of the new school teacher, Genis Sage. They were as close as close could be, despite Lloyd not understanding Colette's fate once she began her journey of regeneration.

Lloyd ended up going on it on accident, once all the pastor's that were to accompany Colette had been killed and Lloyd and Genis had been exiled from Iselia for atagonizing the Desians near the village. Thus, they went with Colette and worked to regenerate the world, watching Colette lose her humanity from seal to seal.

With the final seal at the Tower of Salvation, Lloyd fought against Cruxis, not willing to give up his friend. And they were taken to Tethe'alla, Sheena's world. There, they were joined by Tethe'alla's Chosen, Zelos Wilder, and the taciturn girl, Presea Combatir. Their party completely filled the ranks when they were at last joined by Regal.

Thus, the party worked hard to stop Cruxis's plans to create a world full of lifeless beings, and Lloyd was forced to discover the hard way that his missing father was Kratos. And then, it came time to go to the Tower of Salvation, where the party was betrayed by Zelos, who fought them and was killed. Once the party escaped from Derris Kharlan, they were joined by Kratos, who helped them defeat Mithos.

Even after the reuniting of the worlds and the restoration of how the world should be, opinions on Lloyd's actions were mixed. While some people loved what he had done, especially on the Sylvarant side, there were those that despised him for his action and wished things would go back to the way they were, which was primarily from the upper class on Tethe'alla's side.

Unfortunately, those people had money, and Lloyd really should have seen the hit request coming.

Sample Journal Entry: Woah! This place is so neat! Kind of like the church in Meltokio, but uh... A little more burned on the inside. I wonder why it's empty, though. Seems like such a waste, you know?

Huh... Well, I wonder if there's anything else to do. This isn't that exciting if there's nothing here. And anyway... I'm not even really sure where this place is, or how I got here.

Hehe, guess I should have thought about that first huh? Okay, I guess I should be ready for anything on the outside of this door! Gels, check, swords, check! Back up... Not check. Am I seriously on my own? Oh man.

Well, this'll be a good chance to check myself! Alright, on three... One... two... three!

-- it's a city?!

Sample Roleplay: Lloyd looked up at the newly named mana tree, uncertain of what came next. Before all that, it felt like even though there were times where they had no clue what to do next, something always worked itself out. There was always something else. There was probably something else to do then, he just wasn't thinking of it. Obviously, there was the answer of returning to Iselia, and helping everyone adjust to suddenly living in one world. Or maybe...

Well, did it really matter that he didn't know exactly what to do next? He was letting himself get down when there was obviously still a ton left to do! Maybe it wasn't that he didn't know exactly what to do, just that there was so much that needed to be done. The sheer volume of it was enough to make anyone sit and think for awhile-- but when he thought of it like that, he suddenly couldn't wait to get started. There were so many challenges ahead of them, still, that they couldn't afford to wait for everything to work itself out! Lloyd knew that.

It was sad that everyone they'd traveled with... would have to go their seperate ways, but at the same time, he had a feeling he'd meet everyone again that he could. And he wanted to make Zelos proud-- knowing their friend would definitely want the best for the worlds that now had to live as one. Lloyd knew he couldn't stop then, and so he turned away from the tree, looking for Colette. They needed to go back to Iselia. Together.
