I work as a Photography studio assistant at a place called Pi Media up in North York (by Don Mills and York Mills). It's a sweet gig that makes me about 500 every week so it's enough to get by and moreso to save for the all-too-near future.
Sean and Kevin (as well as Dave Bell and Sayuri and some other Cyber-y people) are all at OCAD. Alek, like David and myself, is taking the year off to work. I believe he's going to some sort of animation/design school. David's pretty much kickin' it in the T-dot this year waiting for his girlfriend Steph to finish at ESA so they can run off to B.C. together next year and attend Emily Carr. Myself? I'm not quite sure. I'm still heavily regarding Ryerson's Film Studies program but I've more recently considered doing film college first instead. It's kind of a big decision and I've been very indecisive about it (of course) but my interests are seemingly so set on more hands-on, "practical", multimedia production work that it could very well be my best option.
We shall see. Interestingly enough, no one we really know all too well is attending Ryerson, to my knowledge. It's pretty much a throw-up between UofT, OCAD, Waterloo, Queens and McGill this year, haha. That's great to hear you've been running into/hanging out with random DMCI people downtown. I haven't been nearly outgoing enough to see more of the crew since we all ran off.
