I played my first full band show in quite some time this past Sunday night. Despite tremendous nerve-wracking on my part, I got up there, did my thing and rocked the fuckin' house (in a chilled out folky way, that is) along with some new friends of mine; Murray (also on guitar), Ryan (saxaphone), and Mark (drums). It went amazingly. We played jam-

2. I challenge you to start an mp3 blog or something. You seem to be getting more crafty than me at finding cool shit lying around on the net -- not that it's really all that difficult in the first place. No, wait, I [also] challenge you to make more movies. That ISU you had this year was quite cool.
3. Dark blue. You seem to be mostly a habitant of the night (sleeping habits all fucked up like mine, I guess?) plus there's a certain level of solemn intellect that lies in the otherwise pleasing nature of dark blue.
4. You're the only other person I know I can tell thinks about silly things a lot. Well, no, that sounds weird. We think about details. Odd details. I can just tell from the way we both behave and whatever that we're more similar than we "give" ourselves "credit" for. Ya know? Anyway, all in all, that makes me get along with you really, really well.
5. Last night/walk of our lives, the parties, the talks, dancing like fools, singing like fools, geeking out about music, playing hockey, CyberShit, etc. etc. The list goes on and on my friend but it certainly will not stop for a long time. I promise.
6. You kind of remind me of that dragon from the Neverending Story. Except that he was big and furry and white and ugly. And I also think he might've been a child molester but never mind all that and I still think there are some similarities. Uhh, do fake mythological creatures count as animals?
7. As honestly as you can get, where do you see yourself 7 and a half years? Yes, seven and a half.

oh man, bulls eye brotha, now that you mention it, I totally 'get' where you're coming from, interesting..... and I whole heartedly agree, it's been damned good g-unit, let's keep the good times rollllllin'!
hahaha, that dragon sounds really fucked up, perhaps you're lucky I've never seen the Neverending Story or else i'd have to go all child molester on yo ass foo'
as for the 'serious' question; hmm, seven years and a half. I can honestly see myself back in Toronto, and by 'back' I mean some time in the next seven and a half years I'll probably doing something else (contract work, perhaps) in some other country for a year or two, after the whole university bit. I can see myself not in any sort of a serious relationship with anyone, living in an apartment or a condo with not a lot of material possessions other than music (cds/records/digital music player/record player/a sweeeeet sound system) literature (my growing library of books) a closet full of clothes, my sketchbooks, a lap top, a big comfy bed and whatever day to day necessities. I doubt I'll own a cat or a dog, even though I'd really love one, but mainly because I'm not good with routine (can't stand doing the same shit for more than a month or two) which would explain why I'd travel often, experiencing the world, taking it all in I guess. Since I'd be in toronto, there'd always be my old friends around the corner to catch up and chill out with in cafes, art galleries, little book shops, whatever boutiques the seven-and-a-half-year-older-us would enjoy. This last part would probably be the most important thing to me, as friends are really the only ones that keep me not only sane but tremendously happy as well.
Oh! And I'll take you up on that challenge good sir, I've actually been meaning to slowly convert this new lj into something 'more', and of course, there's nothing better than spreading the tunes of talented musical artists.
