I went over my statistics in submissions stuff again, trying to kick my butt into gear to submit stuff, and realized that some of them were pretty dang CHEERFUL-MAKING

44 form responses
33 personal responses (including 5 sales)
15 forms with "send more" phrases
this means only 50% of my responses were standard form rejections. Over 50% were "good rejections" encouraging me to send more, telling me specifically why the poem/story didn't make it for them.
T.O.P., I am going to like you DESPITE those shoes
Also, I sold only one poem each year the past two years, so as far as curve goes, selling five this past year was...freaking decent, really.
I've sent poems out to two magazines since looking that stuff over this morning. X)
Still headaching over actual writing but when is that NOT true, really?
