So
bluegerl asked me if Pacific Rim was a) worth seeing and b) pervable. How about I offer visual proof of why you should go see it?? :D
Okay, in a nutshell, Pacific Rim is about giant robots (called Jaegers) piloted by humans fighting giant monsters (called kaiju) from another dimension. But, trust me, there's more to it.
See, giant robots:
This is Charlie Hunnam. He plays Raleigh Becket (essentially the main character who isn't a robot or a kaiju). Charlie is a pretty, pretty man.
This is Rob Kazinsky. He plays Chuck Hansen, an egotistical jerk Australian Jaeger pilot with daddy issues. He is also very pretty. And was the original Fili in The Hobbit films before having to drop out due to health issues.
This is Idris Elba. He plays Stacker Pentecost. And is a general badass.
This is Max Martini. He plays Hercules Hansen, Chuck's dad. Also a Jaeger pilot.
Just a couple pretty pics of the the boys...

Raleigh much later on the film
Chuck and Raleigh fighting (in an extremely hot scene that resulted, IRL, in a broken nose for Rob when Charlie accidentally kicked him in the face)

Oh, yeah. The film also has Charlie Day playing a nerdy tattooed scientist. And an extended cameo by Ron Perlman. :D
