Wow, that time again already?
The journey started with a hobbit and a ring.
Funny how some of the best stories (and journeys) start out that way, isn't it? Anyway.
It was 11 years ago that one of my best friends in the world came into my life. Like any friendship that begins online, I never suspected that it would turn into something solid and deep and lasting. Many online friendships don't. This one did, for which I will be forever grateful.
I can't (and never could) put into words all the things that her friendship means to me. There are times when I'm not sure where my brain ends and hers begins. If you don't believe me, ask her. We're braintwins and it's a (more than) a little funny at times.
There have been up and downs and ins and outs, and I wouldn't trade a single one of them for anything in the world.
Not if it meant losing one of the funniest, smartest, funnest, strongest, most loyal women in my life. I used to joke around and say that she was the Harry to my Karl. I still think that, but she's also so, so much more.
azewewish is one of the most amazing people I have ever met, and I am so glad for all the things that brought her into my life.
Brenda, happy birthday and may it be filled with fun and love and laughter, and may the coming year take you places you never imagined, surprise you in ways you never thought possible, and give you everything you deserve and more. I love you so much, baby!!
