Wednesdays are the new Monday
Can I just start today over and have it be better?!
Jeez.
Got ready for work this morning and went to leave only to find out that my car (which is a stick shift) wouldn't come out of gear. Now, I already knew I was going to have to have it looked at, but I was hoping it would wait 'til the weekend. No such luck.
Ended up having to call a tow truck and have it towed to the mechanic's. Then went to get a rental car so I could actually get to work while the car is in the shop. The tow truck didn't get to the apartment until almost 11:30, so it was 1:00 by the time I was done at Enterprise and actually at work. Yeah, 4 hours late.
Then the mechanic calls, says something about master cylinders and cracks and fluid and it'll be about $200 to fix, and btw, it'll most likely be ready this afternoon. After I've already taken off with the rental car. This just really is NOT my day at all.
And it's looking like I'm going to be a little late in the morning due to dropping off the rental car and picking up my car. This just sucks.
