RadarOnline Taye Diggs and Idina Menzel welcomed their first child Walker Diggs at the beginning of the month and the actor recently explained to RadarOnline.com how they chose his name.
"I was reading Alice Walker and just loved the way the last name rang. We had a bunch of other names as well, but that one kind of won out," the Private Practice star said at a private dinner for the show at Spago on Monday night.
As for fatherhood, the new dad could barely contain his excitement. "I love it," he gushed. "I'm just starting at it. I can only imagine it's just going to get better."
Even though "every day is completely different", Diggs is "smiles all the time."
Congratulations to the new family!
