More things for my children's ILL2 project!
First pass at character development of the protagonist and antagonist! A rather "plain" and generic girl [I am loosely basing this family on Turkic // Mongolian nomadic ... imagery, does that even make sense?? MASHING CULTURAL THINGS TOGETHER INTO FANTASY WORLDS IS HARD ;;;;] and a crazy Tengu for the troll princess. So far, I have heard that the "bird lady" has confusing expressions, so I'll have to adjust that. I've also been told the protagonist needs a name, even though she doesn't have one in the story??? AAAH I AM SO ABSOLUTELY STUMPED besides going through baby name sites. Suggestions? 6o9
And thumbnails! We stuck to double-page spreads last week, so I rearranged them a bit, adding in single pages and vignettes to offset the amount of text I will eventually plug in.
