(no subject)
Under the cut - large picture of some of my friends and I in costume for the Serenity premiere.
From left to right:
Jamie - she was going to be River, but didn't get a costume together. Wore my River tag instead.
Mike (russianmissile) - Wash. While we tried to convince him to bleach his hair blonde, he decided it was "too permanent," so stayed black.
Chris (mr_mocha) - Have you ever seen a better Book? He did it really well. Even carried a Bible with him, which turned out to be more trouble than it was worth.
Andy - Mal. He probably went to the most trouble of anyone of us to get his costume together, but I really like the way it turned out. The coat's a little short, but I'm not complaining. It looks beat up enough and it's real leather.
Me! - Kaylee. My jumpsuit came too late for me to do anything besides fade it. I definitely intend to go back and add the patches and stuff.
Buss (bussman) - Very good Jayne. Could be very intimidating if you didn't know him. Looks slightly like Jayne. That's my Blue Sun shirt.
What can I say about this movie? Quite a lot, actually. IM me or something if you'd like to talk about it. I don't want to type up everything, because I know there are people who haven't seen it yet and would like to avoid spoilers.
EDIT to add: I also meant to say that RevolutionSF is doing a giant Serenity feature right now with a review of the movie, comics, TV series, RPG game, and a few other things. Go check it out.
