Taking a short break today. I didn't have work, so instead of spending the day at Fearrington, I spent the day driving around. It wasn't all that bad, actually - this morning I went over to Stephen's house and spent the first part of the day there. I helped him with his computer issues, and got his recording software set up and let him borrow my microphone until he gets his own. While I was there, we recorded two of his original songs. I guess you would call them demo versions - we didn't do any mixing or adding to them, so it's pretty basic right now. Still, it's a start, and I left him to play with the software while I went to pick up Allie and her dad to take them to the airport.
For now, I'm sitting at home for a precious couple hours before I have rehearsal tonight.
