there is a road that meets the road that goes to my house...

I finally uploaded the pictures I took in Asheville at The Strokes/Apples in Stereo concert:

We were very close to the stage. That's Meredith and I with the lead singer of Apples in Stereo, who came down to the crowd in front during The Strokes portion of the show.

Anyways, I'm sitting at the Saturn dealership in Chapel Hill. Hopefully they can eliminate any problem? For those I haven't ranted to, here's my car story:

Last week, I finally had the time to take my car to be inspected. Prior to that, I had been filming and partaking in other time consuming activities. I took my car to the same mechanic my family usually uses, because he's very reliable and has never not been able to fix a problem. I decided just to leave it there, because my mom was out of town and I was able to use her car. The next day, I get a call from the mechanic. Apparently, when a car is inspected, it's plugged into a national database computer to prevent mechanics from passing cars that don't deserve to be passed. When my car was plugged into this, the "service engine" light came on. Over the next few days, the mechanic checked everything he knew to check, and couldn't figure out the problem. It doesn't seem like such a big deal, but as long as it's plugged into that computer, if it's unplugged without passing, cops show up at my door in a couple weeks with a ticket for driving with bad inspection. Yesterday, I went and got my car from that mechanic, and now I'm sitting at the dealership, hoping that they'll figure out something he didn't or that it'll magically pass.

Anyways. Last night was fun. Spent around 9 PM to some ungodly hour at Allie's house.
