one more reason for me to not like doctors...
I went to the doctor's office today for a regular check-up. I don't really like doctors in the first place, but that's beside the point. I needed a couple immunizations that I was "overdue" for. As my doctor is filling out paperwork:
Doctor: Are you happy with your life right now?
Me: I guess so. Yes.
Doctor: Alright. What sort of foods do you eat?
(Though this is a medical doctor, she writes down every answer I give to seemingly random questions word for word in the margins of the paper she was filling out. Several minutes later...)
Doctor: What do you normally do with your friends?
Me: What do you mean?
(I was trying to evade her question so I didn't say something like "we hang out" and sound really shallow.)
Doctor (suddenly really concerned): Wait...do you not have any friends??
...
