Today, I spent a couple hours getting work done on one of the costumes for Once Upon a Mattres. I...uh...ran out of fabric (even though I bought more than the specified amount), so the back piece of the skirt isn't quite as full as it should be, but I think (hope) that it will work out alright.
This evening, I was going to go ice skating with a few people. Brian, Stephen, Chris, Brett, and I met at my house and then headed to Cary, where all hopes were dashed and sorrow set in when we were informed that public skating ended early for a youth hockey game. Instead, we made our way to Wendy's and ate our sorrows in the form of frosties. They were quite good, though not as emotionally satisfying as going skating. Significantly cheaper, though, and just as enjoyable to be with a few of my favorite guys.
