I just bought my ticket for the Mogwai concert (March 8th, Cat's Cradle, $15, please come?), so yay for that. It'll be a fun night out, I hope.
Today, I tried to get some work done on the Once Upon a Mattress costumes that I need to get finished, but didn't actually get very much completed. I feel like once I get past the stage of cutting out giant pieces of pattern paper, everything goes much more quickly and is more enjoyable. Maybe it's just me, but cutting out all those pieces is pure torture. As it is now, I'm working on Princess Winnifred's dress, and I want to have it done by the end of next week, which should be doable, especially if I force myself to work over the weekend.
My dad showed up tonight with a copy of the West Side Story soundtrack for me and a story about going to see a client who has a life size cardboard cutout of a shirtless Fabio wearing tight leather pants and a chain in the entrance of her home. Heh.
