Holy crap.
I went skiing for the first time today, and it was so much fun! I was able to go because Andy's younger sister's girl scout troup was going and they had some extra seats on the bus, so he went and was able to invite some friends. I'm so glad I got the opportunity. I didn't break or maim anything vital, which is always a good thing. I did, however, tear up part of my arm pretty badly, but that's alright - it doesn't hurt that much right now, and it looks kind of badass. I have a feeling I'll be fairly sore all over tomorrow, though. First thing this morning (4:30 AM to be exact) we met in a random parking lot. Chris and I hung out with Lily in her car until everyone else got there. Bus ride up, get equipment, etc. The visibility must have been below zero. At least. It was impossible to see more than twenty feet, and on top of that, it was raining most of the day. Everyone had a lesson at the beginning, and we stayed on the beginner slopes for most of the time, stopped for lunch in the middle, and did the intermediate slopes second half. I really hope that I get the opportunity to go again sometime. Maybe next time I'll be able to ski in real snow, instead of the icy fake stuff. But still. So awesome.
I have to go finish work I should have done last night.
