Do all of your cooking on the weekend. Make dinner-sized portions of whatever you cook and freeze them. Plan your meals.. leave one night a week free for take out or dinner out.

Those are pretty cool, but don't rule out cheap alternatives like ziploc freezer bags/containers. soups and stews do REALLY well in those little containers.
