My friends and I are getting a house this Friday. It's going to be a collective house. I'm pretty excited. It's in Hammond, Indiana and it's fucking huge and wonderful. Five bedrooms, two bathrooms, basement for shows, garage for bike workshop, and a backyard for a garden. I'm so fucking excited.
My life has changed so much and it really hit me this weekend. I dressed up like a yuppie college student to look at a house, then went to my friend's mother's church thing (and this does not mean I go to church regularly or buy into that shit- I just did it because her mother choreographed a dance and she had been talking to me about it), and sat and made out with my boyfriend in a hot tub. I didn't even drink any alcohol. I stayed home tonight instead of getting wasted with my friends because I have class tomorrow. It sounds like life has been "improving," but honestly, I miss having fun. I really don't have that much fun anymore.
Maybe I'll start having fun when I move into the new house.. but probably not much because I'll have a job.
I miss adrenaline and butterflies in my stomach.
At least things are going well with my boyfriend and all my friends are in good health and some just got out of jail. That makes me happy.
