Title: "Cul-de-sac Memories"
Rating: G
A/N: I wrote this about a night I had out with an unrequitted love. It was an amazing experience. :)

No intoxication
No drug induced
euphoria
Then again
maybe not
I was definitely
high off of you

Laying in the roundabout
of Mama’s Cul-de-sac
bra and suspenders
Exactly how I wanted
to be
Looking up to the
Stars
staring down on us
Smiling

The shine of the streetlamp
above your angelic
hair, falling down
Showing your face
with all its beauty
proving to me
my love was true

Your voice ringing
through my ears
Resounding
My voice rising
as I speak words
I would never
be able to say
Unless I was with you

With sweet breaths
you speak to me
like no other
I listen
With no hesitation
No heed to learning
I want to partake
in every word you say

So far away
from that night
in memories
I no longer hear
your voice
as much
But I assure you dearheart
at night
it’s you I think of
