You are definitely right about the media machine, and I can appreciate the choice of a Pitbull rather than a poodle in office.
The majority of info I was exposed to suggested a bogus vote in Florida, if I am wrong about that I apologize but I'd like to see the evidence.
WE can look at theat one from different sides, no problem.
I have to agree about the uptightness, I lived in Toronto for years and I had neever even imagined such an uptight culture.
Montreal was much more enjoyable but still be intense in a few spots.
They are pretty folksie here in the 'Peg, even if it is a bit of one horse town.
Mulroney had a bit of guts but his integrity fell into question more often than that of Richard Nixon.
There is a book about him titled "On the Take".
I'd like to recommend a film for you to watch called the corporation.
I would really enjoy benefitting from your perspective on that one if you get the chance.
