This is so stylistically different than what you usually write, it's hard to believe it came from you. But, while I disagree with your conclusions on art,(I think a message is essential to art) I like the arguments you make about post-modernism (inasmuch as it frees us from the traditionally heavy focus on artistic structure) and the way you present these arguments. It reminds me of the times I've attempt to discuss/write messages similar to this one--I always aim for this conversational tone. Personally I blame Clerks.
