Blockbuster's ad agency are a bunch of lying bastards. You wanna know why? Here's why. The "No More Late Fees" thing is bullshit.
Sarah and I did a little research. Turns out it's basically a slightly extended viewing time for movies. Heres how it works. You check out a movie. You don't bring it back after the due date you then have basically another week (7 days) to do so. You do that, no problem.
You keep the movie 8 days and they charge your credit card for the cost of the move. You've just bought it buster.
However, there is a recourse. You bring it back any time after they've charged you they'll credit back your card the amount of purchase...
MINUS that's right MINUS a "restocking fee".
Now, does that sould to anyone else like a late fee in disguise? I thought so.
