"The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honours the servant and has forgotten the gift." (Albert Einstein)
What do group members think about the above quote?

When I read the terms, "intuitive mind" and "rational mind" I couldn't help but think of it as (for an example)... ideally (imho), those who represent People at large (representatives, jurors) should be intuitive minds, those who enforce the law (judges, officers) should be rational minds, and those who's duty it is to bring about change (lawmakers) should be a balanced combination of both. This becomes complicated, since many, if not the majority, of positions in a Democratic Republic (such as ours in the US) have positions that have obligations to represent and defend both the majority and the minority. This is, still imho, assuming these positions have gotten past personal bias and are willing to sacrifice their own beliefs for the sake of their position's duties... ah, but that's a whole 'nother slice of cake. I have a tendency to ramble so I'll try to wrap it up.
Er... did that even make any sense? Regardless, I agree with Missy Mercury's first statement completely.
You know what was good about Einstein? He always seemed humble, no matter what story about him was being told. I never got any sense of excessive pride or ego. Maybe that's just me?
Responses of any and all kind are more than welcomed... and, uh, this is only my second post, after my intro post, so if I'm just babbling about left field, just lemme know.
