Made it home despite the snowstorm. Nothing whatsoever to report, just a constant coffee drip, cooking with Dad (totally random stuff from gingerbread to lengua tacos), running, zoning out in front of the tv, and going to bed early. Not a bad life for a week.
Also, went to see Natalie MacMaster yesterday, as the parents have been huge fans since a trip to Cape Breton about 15 years ago - the concert was great, and then we found out that she's playing in Providence in the spring, so my mom's Christmas present is going to be tickets to the show. She's incredibly difficult to shop for, so I feel like this is an exciting stroke of luck.
