So it's been intimated again I don't post enough.

I don't I suppose - mostly since I rarely have much entertaining to say, and any links I have are already spread across the intrawebz, and I feel silly doing meme's half the time. There is also no fanfiction to post with the way work is going this month, but that will change I swear! Eventually.

The one random thought I will post with today - if you have the means and the proper health insurance like I've just started to pay too much for acquired, massages are the best thing in the world. Seriously. I had never had one before in my life until now with all the back issues I've been having from a)stress b)contorting my back into weird positions for a peripheral retinal exam c)bending over a slit lamp and d)sleeping on a hard little twin bed I nearly roll off of all the time. It was very much worth it.

Well, a second thing - I was actually a bit emotional yesterday when I found out my parents (read: my father who has no sentiment) gave away nearly the entirety of my childhood that had been stored with them since I have no room right now. Some of it did have monetary worth, but that's beside the point. Most of it had a lot of memories, and a few select things I would keep for sentiment alone. I suppose my intent always was I would pass a lot of that on to the next generation, which was why I boxed it up. A little harder to justify since I suppose chances are I won't have children, but I imagine I'll be an aunt at the very least. I just can't discount it yet. Of course the choice was taken away from me as it were. This is one thing I suppose I am a bit of a girl about - I wish I'd been given at least the chance to sort through a bit.

Just nobody better touch any more of my books then have already been given away. My Anne of Green Gables collection I've had since I learned to read, or the Secret Garden special hardcover edition, and a multitude of other books are not things for the junk pile.

ETA: I've mostly been keeping up on other's wishlists around LJ, but if anybody has one feel free to link at anytime:) It's not selfish to ask for things as well as give. Some days I'm skimming livejournal at best and I miss a lot. Just like last year, I think this is a lovely idea, and I encourage both the posting of lists and the fulfilling of whatever wishes you can

Yes, I am a Christmas sap
