Who needs happy pills?
I've been listening to 80s pop music on the radio stations on iTunes all day today. I needed something to get me through the beginning of another series of SEO work. (SEO=Search Engine Optimization)
It had been quite some time since I last was having and 80s binge and this time around I'm realizing how nearly everything was about happy sexual innuendo and sunshine. It's kind of hard to be in a bad mood with drum machines and synthesizers playing in your head all day. Even songs about less than joyous themes still sound like the person is having a party, even if they are the only one who bothered to attend.
I highly recommend this therapy to anyone feeling a bit desaturated.
Also, Tam is slightly disconcerted about my new icon. If only she knew there were pictures of Zardoz around my office (including on my desk in a frame).
