(no subject)
i saw this person perform on Craig Ferguson last night. she was absolutely adorable. and this song got stuck in my head. its nothing like what i normally listen to. its way more "funky", if you will. but ill be damned if this isnt one heck of a song.
so my doctor called me today and told me that according to the tests that they ran when they took blood samples, i have an overactive thyroid. but if i had an *over* active thyroid id be thin as a rail. and well, we all know that thats definitely not the case. considering this past winter i was my heaviest ive been in my entire life. and yes, i did drop 25lbs, which helped out a lot and has made my life a little easier, but id like to lose more. possibly get back down to the 125-130 range, where i was in high school. that seems to be a very far off dream though. basically ill take what i can get. unfortunately im taking a 2 week hiatus from my diet meds and i wont start them up again until i receive my new anxiety meds in the mail and start them for about a week or so. its called Buspar and ill only be on a 10mg dose which is a-okay cuz evidently im not as anxiety-ridden and/or depressed as i used to be cuz being on 50mg of Zoloft made me go into, what seemed like, an alternate universe. yes thats how out of it i was. so i hope all will work out w/ this new stuff and maybe taking a break from everything will allow my body to process the diet pills as they did before, making me lose 3-4lbs every 2 weeks and not just 1-1.3lbs as i had been doing. cuz thats PATHETIC. especially considering the amount of food i *dont* eat and the amount of exercise i *do*!
Moose called me this morning while i was making pancakes and we had a good old catching up convo cuz now shes back in the old US of A! i swear, ive never been on the phone more than in the past 24 hours. i think ive talked to people for a grand total of nearing 3 hours on el telefono. i havent had long phone conversations in years, let me tell you that.
well im gonna go watch The Hot Chick with my madre cuz shes never seen it. and that, my friends, is a travesty!
