im an LJ-postin' whore today it seems...
ok, so pretty much didnt think that my adoration for one, Mr. Butch Walker, could get any more intense. evidently hes proven me wrong b/c of this post he made on good old myspace.
hey all... well, summertime is upon us. which means performing in outdoor amphitheatres (with sunglasses, of course), sweaty stage clothes, fabreze for the sweaty stage clothes, broken down bus AC's, disposable underwear, and lots and lots of fluids for rehydration (vodkascotchredwinerumbeerplusmixers). check out my summer tour schedule i'm packin' (dates listed on myspace and on my website). it's pretty complete. as you may or may not know, i am doing all of these dates as main support for Avril Lavigne's summer tour, and the last half of the tour, this guy named Gavin Degraw joins the tour. he's more famous, so i will have to be the 1st of 3 acts when he comes on board. that's when i deem the latter portion of the tour the "GET THERE EARLY TOUR '05" segment of dates. FYI that portion starts when i hit LA on the 11th. all the dates leading up to that (USA and Canada) are me as main support. so don't fuck me over, by showing up late to the dates where i'm playing the "Sun is still shining in my face" set. it's gonna be a radtastic tour! then i will be heading out in fall, on my own headlining venue tour (dates to come soon).
guess what? 9 months, 2 weeks, and 3 days after my album "Letters" hit the shelves, a radio station (outside of ATL) sifted through their pile of cd's on their desk and discovered my single "Mixtape", and started to play it in rotation! the station is WTMX in Chicago, and they are playing it pretty solid! i wanna say mad props to them and if you live in the area (or listen to them online at www.wtmx.com), you should call them up and tell them that their station sounds even cooler now and tell them to keep playing the shit out of it! hey, maybe it will catch on, and i will be huge, get to drive as yellow hummer, and wear a diamond encrusted cross (6''x4'' in size) around my neck... kidding. i'm also gonna go play a special "stripped down" acoustic set for WTMX in the park, downtown Chicago, on July 7th!!!!! so make sure to listen for the details on that show. it will be a free concert, and it's probably gonna be in the afternoon, so make your plans to come now.. then we'll have a race to see who can jump in lake Michigan the fastest.
i will also have a new line of summer merch to pick from on the online store, and at the shows... please... wear me.
alright. that's it for now. just wanted to let you know about my shit for the rest of the year. i should also mention that Britney Spears' little sister has launched a new clothing line!!!!! who gives a shit.

he certainly never ceases to entertain me w/ his sarcastic wit. too bad the closest venue hes playing is in Jersey. but, thats ok, im not too upset to be missing out on that tour considering hes opening for Avril Lavinofnosfnsf[however her funky last name is spelled] and Gavin Degraw or whoever. a bunch of TU kids are all about that guy, so im betting that the chances of me enjoying his music are slim to none cuz i dont seem to see eye to eye w/ most of the people at TU when it comes to music.
i totally forgot how much i love this song. its a good zone out song.
im starting to get increasingly more worried about this whole search for someone to puppy/house-sit for me while im on my cruise. im on the verge of offering sexual favors for someone to watch Darcy for me. now thats love!
some strange black man, who was walking around the neighborhood trying to sell stuff, told me that he was coming over for breakfast tomorrow morning. i just smiled and did that awkward laugh thing that i do when im uncomfortable, yeah, you know youve heard it, and then walked into the garage. im assuming the big gallon of milk i was carrying was what prompted him to make that comment. but then again, it could have just been that magnet that i swear i have somewhere in my body that makes crazy black people decide to be attracted to me, thus making them say weird shit to me all the effing time.
haircut for me tomorrow. thank goodness. this shag aint lookin' too hot these days. after the haircut tomorrow though, im just gonna let it grow back out. people seemed to like my long hair, so i figure it wont look too bad. while im getting mah hurr did, Darcy is gonna get hers did too! shes looking a little scruffy around the face, and she needs her teeth brushed cuz her puppy breath is starting to be not so pleasant, and her nails need to be clipped, and her ears should be cleaned too. and of course, a puppy bath is in order to make her smell scrumtralescent! haha, basically shes going to be one pampered pooch tomorrow. and shell get a new bandana and everything. aw itll be adorable! ill take pictures, cuz i love my little girl when shes all clean and looking cute :).
i still cant get over the fact that Head Automatica is playing in B-more *the day after* i leave. im so sad :(. no dance party for this kid. oh well, ill get drunk as shit on the boat and start my own dance party. hahaha thatd be faaaaabulous. im also going to miss seeing Alkaline Trio while im away. damn you bands for playing shows on the East Coast while im not here! i really wanted to hear Alk3 play their new stuff. but i suppose there will be other shows.
time to take a walk. thank goodness for this cool, not humid weather. its very enjoyable.
