Okay, so that's not exactly an accurate interpretation of the meaning that could be derived from the below, but I'd like to think so cuz it's just so, so FUNNY!
British kids say Cowell is more famous than God
According to a poll of British children under the age of 10, the kids think American Idol judge Simon Cowell is more famous than God and the Queen.
Seriously.
The survey, which polled 1,600 youngsters, was taken in the town of Luton. Not only did Cowell beat out the guy who created the universe, but the cranky judge also rated higher than Queen Elizabeth.
Cowell apparently rose from fifth spot to knock the Queen out of the top spot. God came in second last year.
Remember the public’s outraged response to John Lennon’s comment in 1966 (which were taken out of context, mind you), stating something to the effect that the Beatles had become bigger than Jesus?
Well, Cowell might want to keep that in mind before he responds to the results of this recent survey. Otherwise, he may be seeking forgiveness from the Vatican, as well.
