Guys, the sheer innundiation of post-cyberpunk online-culture may be getting to me, and I may be reading Boing Boing a bit too much, but Trusted Computing scares the ever-living fuck out of me.
According to the always completely accurate Wikipedia, 2010 will see basically every computer in the world enabled for this. I will have to go off the grid. I will live as a perpetual nomad, wandering the digital world with merely analog eyes; I will hack into strangers' cortical implants to update my secret nomad blog; I will wear cheap fake beards and skin masks to confuse street cameras; I will leave anarchist screeds in cyber-cafes and whorehouses; I will make really horrible and dated Matrix jokes, and no one will get them.
