Sho Sakurai❤of Arashi is set to play the role of wheelchair basketball player, 'Kazuya Takajou', who had accident that caused him spine injuries right when he was about to be the national team player and was about to tie the knot. Due to the accident, he had to use a wheelchair. His sporty lifestyle still remained as he becomes a wheelchair basketball player dreaming to participate in the Paralympics with the full support of his wife.
The story of the drama SP was inspired by J-League soccer player Kyoya Kazuyuki, who had an accident back in 1993, which also caused him spine injuries and prevented him from playing soccer. He eventually became a wheelchair basketball player after the accident.(CREDIT TO JPOPASIA AS SOURCE).
