bad bad baddest trip

as much as i hate commercialism and  anything that endorses it, i have to admit that i've always thought it would be cool to be in a TV ad, or print ad or whatever. something about my ego thinks it needs to be bigger or just broadcasted everywhere

but is it worth it to be soaked in freezing cold water for 19 hours? 19 freaking hours. those bastards. exploitative, heartless bastards.

i wish i could at least say that we were well compensated, but we weren't. or if i could at least say it was for a product i really believe in, which i DON'T. my only consolation is that it was for our team. yeah, it was for the team right? its kinda like a publicity thing so people know we exist.. yeah, that sounds good.

i do try to be an optimist.

lessons for any video production team: TAKE CARE OF YOUR TALENTS! even if you cant pay them well, at least make extra effort to make them comfortable or take care of their well being. this should seem obvious to professionals right? but apparently ideals are FAR FAR FAR AWAY from what is practiced.

those bastards. i'd like to see them all freeze their corporate asses in a swimming pool
