Picked up the car from the garage where the long-running steering problem (See March for full details, but early signs at new-years), that stopped me doing Raglan Fair (don't mention the fripping Report either) were fixed and an MOT chit issued.
I'm now £240 poorer and car is worth £4-500 to a canny buyer and it had £100 spent on the exhaust last May. {GRUMBLE} Still, freshers are gulible and have loan-cheques buring holes in their pockets. Overseas-ers doubly so. mebbe I can talk it up to £600 or even 750. With its 1.1L engine it is a good "first car". And there ain't no favours in the used car game.
OTOH part of me wants to reap the value of the repairs by getting some use out of the fixed car. Another part doesn't want to abanndon faithful Guenviere {GLOMP}. In some respects I'm quite womanly about my vehicle.
Mebbe I should have sought solace in the arms of a new vech - possibly that hearse. (Forgive me Gue!n)
